Chicken with bacon and cheese
This recipe is delicious! Potatoes, eggs and melted cheese combine perfectly to create a simple and delicious dish.
Ingredients:
– 4 chicken breasts, halved
– 0.2 ounces salt
– 0.2 ounces black pepper
– 0.2 ounces paprika
– 2 tablespoons olive oil
– 7 ounces mozzarella cheese, shredded
– 5 ounces heavy cream
– 1 egg
– 2 tablespoons parsley, chopped
– 8 slices bacon
– Oregano to taste
Instructions:
Preheat the oven to 356°F (180°C).
Cut each chicken breast in half horizontally and open them up.
Season both sides of the chicken with salt, black pepper, and paprika.
Drizzle olive oil over the chicken and spread it evenly.
In a bowl, combine mozzarella cheese, heavy cream, egg, and parsley. Mix well and set aside.
Grease a baking dish with olive oil.
Place the chicken in the baking dish.
Lay a slice of bacon on each chicken breast.
Spoon the cheese mixture over the chicken.
Bake in the preheated oven for 40 minutes.
After 40 minutes, sprinkle additional mozzarella cheese on top of the chicken.
Season with oregano to taste.
Return the dish to the oven and bake for another 10 minutes or until the cheese is melted and bubbly.
Once done, remove from the oven and let it cool slightly before serving.
