Orange cake
This fluffy orange cake will make your mouth water.
Ingredients:
DOUGH: -2 oranges (lime or pear) -2 eggs -1 cup of oil -1 cup of sugar -2 cups of unleavened wheat flour -1 tablespoon of chemical baking powder
Syrup: – juice of 3 oranges (lime or pear) – 1/2 cup of sugar
How to make:
1 – Peel and cut 2 pear oranges, also remove the white part of the orange and the seeds.
2 – Pour the oranges into the blender along with 2 eggs, 1 cup of oil and beat well for 3 minutes.
3 – Pour the mixture on a platter and add 1 cup of sugar tea, 2 cups of unleavened wheat flour tea and sieved and stir well, until the dough is very homogeneous.
4 – Add 1 tablespoon of chemical baking powder and stir well.
5 – Pour the dough into an aluminum shape (form size 30x22cm) already greased and infarinhada.
6 – Bake in the oven for 45 minutes. Remove from the oven and set aside.
7 – In a pan, add the juice of 3 oranges and 1/2 cup of sugar, stir well until the sugar dissolves completely.
8 – Pour the syrup over the cake.
