Hidden ground beef

Learn how to make a delicious ground beef escondidinho, super stuffed and very tasty.

Ingredients:

– 1kg. of ground beef – 8 English potatoes – 2 tablespoons of butter – 1 whole onion, chopped – 4 cloves of garlic, minced – 150ml. of water – 120g. of olives – 340g. of tomato sauce – 250g. grated mozzarella – 150g. sliced mozzarella – olive oil to taste – salt to taste – chives to taste – nutmeg to taste – oregano to taste – black pepper to taste

How to make:

1 – In the pan, add oil, 1 chopped onion, 4 cloves of chopped garlic and brown well.

2 – Add 1kg of ground beef, 150ml of water and seasonings to taste, such as: oregano, a pinch of black pepper, chives, sliced olives and salt. Mix well, cover the pan and let the meat cook for 10 minutes or until done.

3 – Add 340g of tomato sauce (1 sachet), mix well, let it cook for another 3 minutes and set aside.

4 – Peel and cook for 20 minutes 8 English potatoes, cut into cubes and pour into a serving dish. Use a potato masher or a gargo to mash the potatoes until they become a puree. Reserve.

5 – In the pan, add 2 tablespoons of butter, wait for the butter to melt and add the mashed potatoes, 2 tablespoons of grated Parmesan cheese and gradually add 300ml. of milk. Add a pinch of nutmeg. Mix well until smooth.

6 – In a refractory (size 35x25cm), pour half of the mashed potato, add the ground beef and another layer of grated mozzarella cheese. Then add the rest of the mashed potato, and top with mozzarella cheese. Add oregano to taste.

7 – Place in a preheated oven at 180° for 30 minutes.
