The result is an incredibly comforting and fragrant apple pie, perfect for a special breakfast or a quick dessert. It’s a great option for those looking for a hassle-free homemade dessert.

Ingredients:

– 1 apple
– Butter
– 1 tablespoon of sugar
– 1 egg
– 1/2 cup of sugar
– 1/2 cup of oil
– 1 cup of milk
– Ground cinnamon to taste
– 1 and 1/2 cups of all-purpose flour
– 1 tablespoon of baking powder
– Powdered sugar (optional, for dusting)

Instructions:

Slice the apple and remove the core using a bottle cap or similar tool.

In a skillet, melt a generous amount of butter and sprinkle with one tablespoon of sugar. Add the apple slices to the skillet and set aside.

In a bowl, mix together the egg, 1/2 cup of sugar, 1/2 cup of oil, 1 cup of milk, and ground cinnamon to taste. Mix well.

Add 1 1/2 cups of all-purpose flour and mix again until you have a homogeneous batter.

Incorporate 1 tablespoon of baking powder into the batter and mix.

Pour the batter over the apples in the skillet.

Cover the pan and cook over low heat for 15 minutes, making sure the dough turns golden brown and cooks through.

Before flipping, check the dough’s readiness with a toothpick (it should come out clean).

Cover the pan again and cook for an additional five minutes.

Your skillet apple pie is ready! You can dust it with powdered sugar if desired.
