Tangerine Cake
Bergamot / Tangerine / Tangerine Cake! How to speak in your region?
Ingredients:
– 5 tangerines
– 1 baking paper
– 2 eggs
– 1/2 cup of oil
– 1 cup of sugar
– 1 pinch of salt
– 2 cups of wheat flour
– 1 tablespoon of baking powder
– icing sugar
How to make:
1 – In a bowl add a drizzle of oil and spread well, cover with baking paper and add oil on top and spread well. Sprinkle with a little sugar and reserve.
2 – Peel and cut in half 5 tangerines, remove all the seeds.
3 – add the tangerines to the bowl and reserve
4 – In a blender add 2 peeled and cut tangerines and 2 eggs, beat well for 3 minutes. Sift the mixture to remove all the pomace.
5 – Add half a cup of oil, 1 cup of sugar and a pinch of salt to the mixture, mix well.
6 – Add 2 cups of sifted flour and 1 tablespoon of baking powder. Mix well.
7 – Pour the mixture over the tangerines and place in a preheated oven at 180° for 40 minutes.
8 – With the help of a plate, turn the cake over, remove the baking paper, and sprinkle powdered sugar on top to finish.
